How to unlock the Skytouch Rail

  1. Step 1: Hit Lv.32 and finish Haven Astray so Hidden Mountain opens. If the prelude is missing, clear the Kaifeng gate that feeds Bringer of Embers first.

  2. Step 2: Push Jianghu Legacy Volume 02 (A Flourishing Legacy). The rail chain starts around the Jade Stream teleport; check the right side of that waypoint for the quest marker.

  3. Step 3: Read the Skytouch Rail commencement mail when it lands in your inbox, then talk to the Mo City platform crew (water-wheel NPCs flag the broken machinery).

  4. Step 4: Open the Hidden Mountain map, tap the gear icon on the right, and enter Build Skytouch Rail. Select a yellow rail link and submit materials with Space (PC).

Skytouch Rail materials and how to get them

Each rail segment asks for four craft parts: Dragonwood Planks, Mortise Joints, Wooden Wheels, and Wooden Trusses. You craft them from regular logs plus Dragonwood Timber, a Hidden Mountain shop stock that refreshes every Monday and does not drop from gathering nodes.

Material

Role

How you stock it

Dragonwood Planks

Main beam stock

Craft with logs + Dragonwood Timber; buy Timber weekly from the Hidden Mountain shop

Mortise Joints

Frame connectors

Craft path above; common from region chests

Wooden Wheels

Moving assemblies

Craft path above; rarest chest drop. Focus Divinecraft cavern chests when you need a pile

Wooden Trusses

Span supports

Craft path above; mid-rate chest drop

Material shortcuts that actually move the bar

  • Buy Dragonwood Timber every Monday before you burn weekly caps on other shops.

  • Dump spare mats into the shared Handle box so friends can pull; you can claim donated mats on a short weekly limit (guides list about six claims).

  • Clear Hidden Mountain chests along restored track. Restored lines spawn extra chests you walk past on the cart.

  • Join Mohist Hill and rank the sect if you want the Mohist shop material packs.

Solo build vs co-build with friends

You can finish every segment alone on the weekly Timber loop. Co-build cuts the wait.

Mode

How it works

Best for

Solo

You craft, submit with Space, watch that segment’s % climb

Players who already banked Timber

Co-build (max 4 friends)

Invite by ID or nickname. When a friend submits mats on the same rail project, matching credit syncs to your build

Groups that want the full Mo City loop in one session

Invite friends from the Co-build Friends panel on the right side of the build screen. Friend progress on materials syncs; treat each segment as its own submission target so nobody dumps mats into the wrong link.

Where Winds Meet Skytouch Rail invite friends co-build

Skytouch Rail stations and what you unlock

Rebuild links between these Hidden Mountain stops. Names match the in-game build map:

Station

Why you care

Moxin Lake

Northern water hub on the ink-city loop

East Foot of Mo City

Core Mo City approach; early high-traffic segment

Sanfeng Jiuren

Mid-ridge connector into Mo City

Jade Stream

Quest start area; farm towers and water rails

Spirit Spring

Southern spring stop

Cangfeng Barrier

Cliff-side pier routes and nearby Hidden Peak pier objectives

Once a link hits 100%, board the wooden Sky Shuttle cart. The ride carries you through cliff tunnels, valley farms, and the high Mo City galleries without climbing every ladder.

How to get more rail progress (and Echo Beads)

  • Run Hidden Mountain exploration and Gateway repair jobs so Divinecraft ranks keep feeding build support packs.

  • Pair rail sessions with Heavenwill Gauntlets farming if you still need a close-range kit for the region’s bosses; check the ARCTopup Where Winds Meet guides for the current Gauntlets ranking.

  • Keep a small Echo Beads buffer for Season Shop cosmetics that drop while you ride new routes. UID top-up on ARCTopup Where Winds Meet skips password sharing.

Mid-guide CTA: if a Monthly Pass or Battle Pass is the only thing left on your list, finish checkout on ARCTopup before your next Timber refresh.

FAQ

How do you unlock Skytouch Rail in Where Winds Meet?

Reach Lv.32, finish Haven Astray, then clear Jianghu Legacy Volume 02 after Rising Beyond (August 6, 2026). Start the rail quest near Jade Stream and open Build Skytouch Rail from the Hidden Mountain map gear menu.

Is Skytouch Rail the same as Sky Shuttle?

Players use both names for the same elevated transport loop. Skytouch Rail is the track network you rebuild; Sky Shuttle is the cart you ride once a segment is done. Leave the “Sky’s the Limit” Wandering Tale in Shenze alone for this unlock.

What materials does Skytouch Rail need?

Four craft parts: Dragonwood Planks, Mortise Joints, Wooden Wheels, and Wooden Trusses. Craft them with logs plus weekly Dragonwood Timber from the Hidden Mountain shop. One early Mo City segment asks for 320 / 120 / 25 / 10 of those four types.

Can friends help rebuild Skytouch Rail?

Yes. Invite up to four co-build friends. When they submit materials on the shared project, matching credit syncs to your rail. You can also trade spare mats through the shared donation box.

Does Skytouch Rail work outside Hidden Mountain?

Use it between Hidden Mountain stations only. Switch to Boundary Stones and normal world travel when you leave the region.

Conclusion

Keep this Where Winds Meet Skytouch Rail guide open while you clear Volume 02, buy Monday Timber, and stitch Mo City to Jade Stream one segment at a time. Come back when station costs or co-build rules shift. Top up Echo Beads for passes or Season looks on ARCTopup Where Winds Meet.
